Acoustic Duo
Hey folks, have you heard...there's a new duo in town? Meet Dave and Cheryl, members of Mid-Life Crisis Band, who are now performing as an acoustic duo. If you attended the Meadowood open porch nights, you might remember hearing these two talents perform briefly one sultry, summer night in July 2003. Dave and Cheryl met at an open mic nearly three years ago, and have been performing regularly with Mid-Life Crisis Band since that time.They debuted their new acoustic act at the Inn at Moselem Springs in mid-October, and by popular demand will be appearing there, TC's, McCardles and other venues often.
Their music features renditions of familiar songs including Summertime, Over the Rainbow, and It's Too Late. With these tunes, they mix great rock/bluesy tunes like Listen to the Music and Me & Bobby McGee. Their act includes a wide selection of crowd-pleasing country, folk, rock and pop tunes from bygone eras to the present.
Dave's passion for the guitar was originally inspired by his mother who loves folk music. His repertoire is broad--a showcase for his natural talent. He is an original member of Mid-Life Crisis Band performing numerous private and public venues in the last five years.
Cheryl, also a member of the Mid-Life Crisis Band, performed for ten years with the Brandywine Minstrel Chorus and as a soloist at her church. She co-hosts two karaoke shows in the local area, and loves to entertain at open mics.
