Johannes Köhr instruments are built with better woods and test marketed to identify instruments that are true step-up instruments, superior to student instruments. The 440v 16" viola is one of those models. Solid, aged, carved, even grained spruce top. Solid, aged, carved, flamed maple back, sides and neck. Beautifully antiqued varnish. Ebony fittings. Prelude strings. Includes case and real hair bow.

Finished with hand rubbed spirit varnish. Ebony fittings - pegs and tailpiece have gold metal diamond shaped inlays. Dominant strings.
