      We always prefer to have you visit us in person instead of through a distant Internet connection, but understand you might want to see or purchase certain items without driving.   So, after many years, we present this searchable database of our store inventory.We find ourselves so busy in our real store that it is difficult to keep things absolutely up-to-date in our virtual store.  We have may items that are not currently posted and we have stripped the prices off of may things because they were out of date and in violation of our suppliers' policies.  We plan to do a BIG update of inventory and pricing SOON.

Item Information

This mandolin is a Weber vintage F.  Weber is based in Montana.  The instrument is an all solid, carved mandolin made by the fine folks in Weber's shop - the 'vintage' part is a reference to the wood in the mandolin.  This is a brand new instrument made from very old wood.  A violin maker near Weber's shop retired a few years ago and sold his tone wood to Weber.  The wood in this instrument is part of that acquisition...awesome stuff!  It's been aging for decades.  The mandolin sounds wonderful.  Decades of curing has made the wood more responsive than younger wood is.  So, its voice is more 'mature' than most new instruments' voices, but not nearly as rich as it will be after you play it a while!
