The Fultz-Bair Dobson Open Back Banjo is a 5-string open-back banjo with a Dobson tone ring atop a 1/4" brass hoop, hand-made dual brass coordinator rods, maple rim and resonator-less design. Built between Reading and Lancaster, PA, this locally hand-crafted instrument for a clear, crisp tone without harshness. This banjo's scooped fingerboard is designed for old-time, clawhammer styles.
