This seminar will last two hours, starting at 2:15 pm.

Learn flatpicking from one of the country’s most accomplished players. Meadowood Music is hosting a special two-hour seminar with Mark Cosgrove, winner of both the Winfield National Flatpick Championship and the Doc Watson Flatpick Championship. Mark’s clear, friendly teaching style makes advanced techniques accessible to players of all levels.

This two hour guitar clinic will be geared towards the intermediate/advanced player. Subject matter will focus on soloing concepts, arranging, using the entire fingerboard, crosspicking, open string playing, and more. There will be tab and notation available, but ear training will be encouraged as well.

The atmosphere will be non competitive and relaxed but the students will be challenged and -ncouraged to actively participate. All participants will leave the clinic with practice material to continue gaining skill and precision in this fun and "conversational" style of guitar playing.

Fun is the key word for this clinic with one of the most gifted instructors in the business..
