This mandolin is a consignment instrument offered for sale with a gig bag. Made in Bend, OR, this asymmetrical "K" body was Breedlove's take on an F-style mandolin. Solid carved spruce and maple,
Kim Breedlove was first inspired to build guitars during a trip to Mexico in the 1970s, and came together with Steve Henderson came together in 1990 to form Breedlove Guitars in the Pacific Northwest. They worked as a custom-shop style factory until about 1995, when they began to offer production models. In 1996, they started work on a line of mandolins which was introduced to the public in 1998. In late 2010, the Breedlove company was acquired by Two Old Hippies which discontinued making mandolins under that brand in 2016.
Located in Blandon PA, Meadowood Music serves Reading, Allentown, Lancaster, Pottstown, and most of Berks, Lehigh, Montgomery, and Schuylkill Counties, plus many other communities throughout Pennsylvania and nearby states.
