Multiple industry sources report that G&L ended operations in late September 2025, ceasing production and releasing staff at the Fullerton, CA facility. While details of any acquisition have not been publicly announced, those sources speculate that Fender may have acquired G&L’s intellectual property, including trademarks. If that speculation is accurate, Fender could integrate G&L designs, tooling, or trademarks into its own manufacturing, or G&L products could simply go dark.
