This mandola is one of the instruments owned by our friend and customer, Kathy (Katyah) Gohr.
The Weber “Alabama” Mandola is a rare, custom-built mandola created when Bruce Weber still owned the company. Bruce accepted a commission to build a mandola for Jeff Cook, a founding member of the band Alabama who also enjoyed bass fishing, which led to the bass artwork on the back of the instrument. Bruce Weber built a second mandola based on this custom design; this example is that second instrument, making it one of only two ever made.
Located in Blandon PA, Meadowood Music serves Reading, Allentown, Lancaster, Pottstown, and most of Berks, Lehigh, Montgomery, and Schuylkill Counties, plus many other communities throughout Pennsylvania and nearby states.
